Top Stories of the Week

It's always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most interested in the region. Sometimes it's a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it's a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the top stories for the week of November 27 to December 3, 2022

  1. Something in the Water: this week was a lucky one for people near the Peace River. We had a lotto winner from Charlie Lake, Dawson Creek, and Fort St John. Congrats!
  2. Did You Feel the Earthquake?: some people did, some people didn't. After a couple earlier in the month due to fracking, this one was determined to be of natural causes.
  3. Verdict for Hit-and-Run: Anthony Norman Burke received a 90-day jail sentence for a hit-and-run incident in 2019 that killed two pedestrians.
