Most-Read Stories of the Week

It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of July 19 to 25, 2026:

1. Transport Canada Issues Recall: for select 2016-2025 Honda and Acura models. The recall is due to the front passenger seat weight sensor potentially having been improperly manufactured.
2. Review into Alaska Highway through Fort St John: planned by the Ministry of Transportation and Transit. The ministry confirmed that traffic operations staff will review speed limits and highway operations.
3. RCMP Investigate Shots Fired: near C.M. Finch Elementary School on July 22, 2026. According to a July 24 press release, Tyrone McGee is in RCMP custody and faces one charge of reckless discharge of a firearm.
