FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Transport Canada has issued a recall for select years and models of Hondas and Acuras.

According to a Facebook post from Transport Canada, select models of 2016 to 2025 Acura and Hondas are being recalled due to the front passenger seat weight sensor potentially having been improperly manufactured.

If not fixed, the front passenger airbag and knee airbag may deploy in a crash when not required, increasing the risk of injury.
