Commuters can expect delays on Highway 97, due to a vehicle incident north of Fort Nelson.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — A vehicle incident on the Alaska Highway is causing major delays. 

According to a DriveBC update, the vehicle incident between Fireside Maintenance Camp and Allend Lookout is causing major delays on the highway.

The update said the incident is 398 kilometres north of Fort Nelson and there is a material spill.
