Daryl Glen LaRiviere

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of Daryl LaRiviere on December 29, 2025, at the age of 62.

Daryl had an absolute love of the outdoors and would spend as much time as he could with family while out fishing, hunting and gold panning. He spent most of his working life in the forestry and oil and gas industries either fixing or operating heavy equipment.

He is survived by his wife Barbara LaRiviere (nee Martens), sons Alexander and Kevin, and sister Brenda LaRiviere as well as an extended family.

Daryl was predeceased by his father Romeo and mother Margaret.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Peace Island Park (Hawk group site) in Taylor, BC on Aug. 8, 2026 starting at 3 pm.
Burgers & hot dogs will be served as well as sides. If you wish to bring a dish, your contribution is greatly appreciated.
