In Loving Memory of Fredrick Reginald Davies
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fredrick Reginald Davies, who passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
Fred was born on May 11, 1938, in Brockville, Ontario, to Frank and Marguerite Davies.
Fred married the love of his life, Maxine, in 1960 in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Together they raised their family there and built a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion. Maxine predeceased him, as did their beloved son, Christopher.
Fred is lovingly remembered by his sons Rob (Yolanda), Brian, David (Debra), and Dan. He is also survived by his brother, Terry (Sheila), and his sister, Mary.
Fred was a proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather of 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy and pride.
Fred had a deep love for the outdoors, whether hunting or fishing. He was also an avid curler, and his passion for the sport took him to the Brier, a highlight of his curling career.
Above all, Fred cherished his family. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those closest to him. His legacy lives on through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held as follows:
