It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of June 28 to July 4, 2026:
- FSJ Resident Advocating for Lower Speed: on the Alaska Highway through town. This comes after a multi-vehicle incident that resulted in five people being taken to hospital.
- Canada Day Celebrations: took place across the region. For more events throughout the year, check out our events calendar.
- Owner of Charlie Lake Pub Talks: about selling of local eatery. Trynna Dion and Michael Champ have owned the Historic Red Barn Pub and Grill, better known as the Charlie Lake Pub, and other businesses in the area for 35 years. The duo announced that the establishment was sold in an emotional post on the eatery’s Facebook page.
