Most-Read Stories of the Week

It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of June 7 to 13, 2026:

  1. Two Children Dead: after side-by-side incident in Pouce Coupe on June 4, 2026. Dawson Creek RCMP are investigating the incident. A GoFundMe was started to support the families of the youth involved.
  2. Two Arrested: by Fort St John RCMP in organized crime investigation. According to the release, the investigation was led by officers from the Serious Crime Unit and had been ongoing since August 2025. 
  3. Shooting Victim’s Left Eye “Gradually Improving”: according to the latest update from her father. Doctors diagnosed Maya Gebala with a left cranial nerve palsy, which specifically involves the third cranial nerve.
