TAYLOR, B.C. — Enbridge is inviting Taylor residents to an open house to discuss a proposed natural gas pipeline expansion.

The open house will focus on the proposed Birch Grove program, a project aimed at expanding the northern portion of the company’s natural gas pipeline system.

The project would expand the T-North section of Enbridge’s pipeline, which connects Fort Nelson and Fort St. John, adding up to 178 million cubic feet per day of natural gas transportation capacity.

The expansion is being proposed to meet the region’s growing demand for natural gas, which Enbridge describes as an “affordable and reliable energy source.”

The event will take place on Monday, September 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Taylor Community Hall located at 9896 Cherry Ave West.

Community members will have an opportunity to meet the project team, ask questions and share feedback.
