It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of December 7 to 13, 2025:

  1. Company Apologizes After Parade Spectators Sprayed: with flamethrower fuel. The incident occurred during the Fort St John Santa Claus Parade on December 6, 2025. In a Facebook post, Eagle Vision Video Productions apologized for the problem with its special effects equipment. 
  2. Person Taken to Hospital: in “serious” condition after an incident on Highway 97 during the afternoon of December 8, 2025. It was later reported that two people died in this incident.
  3. ICBC Issues 39 Tickets: to the owner of Elite Driver Training School as both allege training issues. All this comes after ICBC suspended all road tests in Fort St. John indefinitely in early December.
