BC Parks campsite reservations now open on staggered basis

VICTORIA, B.C. – British Columbians looking to get away and enjoy the many campsites the province has to offer can now book reservations up until May 8th.
The Discover Camping service opened on March 8th for B.C. residents, allowing bookings two months in advance. Residents will have priority access to campsite reservations all summer.
The campsites are opened on a staggered basis, meaning as of March 8th, those looking to book a campsite can only book until May 8th; on March 9th, they can book until May 9th. If a resident is looking to book for May 21st, the first day of May Long weekend, you must wait until March 21st.
BC Parks posted on its Facebook page that there will be a high demand on the reservation system to process everyone’s request.
BC Residents have until July 7th to book reservations. On July 8th, other provinces can start booking reservations.
