This comes after the centre was closed for five days from February 24th to March 2nd, also due to “staffing challenges.”

According to Northern Health, the health centre is usually open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The health authority is urging residents who need emergency healthcare to call 911 to connect to BC Emergency Health Services for transportation to the nearest available hospital, outside of opening hours.
