This Week in the Peace is a podcast that has been a mainstay in the community for many years now. Originally known as Moose Talks, it is now a collaboration between Moose FM and Energeticcity.ca where our hosts sit down with guests to discuss important topics and local events happening across the region. Recent topics include the Dawson Creek water shortage, the history of the Lido Theatre, talking to the BC Minister of Forests, and more.

Warren “Dub” Craig has been the consistent host over the past years and has been joined by an Energeticcity journalist since switching over to This Week in the Peace. Now that Steve Berard has left us, we are excited to announce that Assistant News Director & Civic Reporter Caitlin Coombes will be joining Dub as a co-host for the podcast.

The show happens live at 10 AM every Friday (except for holidays) on 100.1 Moose FM, on our YouTube channel, and across our social media channels. You can listen to all of our episodes wherever you get your podcasts so make sure to follow us on your favourite platform. You can also go to energeticcity.ca/thisweekinthepeace to learn more and send a message to the hosts.

  2. Researchers Raise Alarm: over carcinogenic chemicals found in hair and urine of pregnant women in the South Peace. The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment urged the federal and provincial governments to fund a review of the health impacts the liquefied natural gas industry has on residents back in September.
