DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has adopted a new bylaw changing the application procedures and fees, coming into effect early in 2025.
The district says in a December 11th media release that these changes are meant to maintain and improve the services provided to its communities.
“The new bylaw will clarify development application processes, streamline timelines, and update fee schedules to align with best practices,” says the district.
Some of the key changes include a $350 fee for a temporary use permit renewal, $200 for a development permit amendment, and $150 for a liquor license referral application.
“These changes will enable the PRRD to streamline processes, improve response times, and offer more tailored support.”
