Jordan Kealy sworn into B.C. Legislative Assembly
Newly elected MLA for Peace River North Jordan Kealy has been officially sworn in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Newly elected MLA for Peace River North Jordan Kealy has been officially sworn in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
Kealy gave his thanks in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 12th.
“I’m at a loss (almost) for words, but I am officially the MLA for Peace River North,” said Kealy’s post. “Thank you to everyone for your support. I am honored to be your representative for the next 4 years!”
The new MLA entered the assembly after receiving more than 70 percent of the votes in the 2024 provincial election.
Kealy Defeated Incumbent Independent Candidate Dan Davies who took roughly 20 per cent of the votes from electors in Peace River North.
Green Party MLAs were sworn in alongside Kealy and the rest of the Conservative Party on November 12th, while NDP MLAs were sworn in on the 13th.
Premier David Eby’s cabinet will be sworn in on the 18th.
