Behind the Scenes
For the last couple of years, we have had Tre Lopushinsky running the newsroom at Energeticcity.ca. Unfortunately, he has taken a temporary leave of absence, but Steve Berard has stepped in as Interim News Director. Here is a message from Steve about his new position:
“I want to thank everybody behind the scenes here at Energeticcity for trusting me to take on the job of Interim News Director. We have an incredible team here both in the newsroom and elsewhere, and I wouldn’t feel nearly as confident in my ability to live up to expectations if I wasn’t working with such excellent people.
Latest Stories
I specifically want to thank Caitlin, Max and Ed – the reporters I work with every day – for their help. None of this would be possible if they weren’t some of the best in the business, and I’m thrilled that I have such a stellar writing team in my corner.
We’re trying to ensure that the transition from Tre to myself is as smooth as possible, so you shouldn’t notice any huge differences in our coverage. We’re still focusing on all the most important stories for people living here in the Peace. If there’s something important that you want to let us know about, don’t hesitate to send us a news tip.”
Most-Read Stories of the Week
