PRRD director announces intention to run for Peace River North MLA

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Peace River Regional District (PRRD) Area B director Jordan Kealy recently announced his plans to run for Peace River North MLA.
Kealy made the announcement in a social media post on Saturday, noting that his nomination papers have been submitted.
Kealy will be running as a Conservative Party of BC candidate and said he is tired of seeing what is happening to the province and the country under the current NDP and Liberal leadership.
In the post, he listed many reasons he wants to run, such as wanting to see accountability in government, responsible spending, initiatives that don’t tax people “to death,” and proper communication.
Kealy said he wants “hardcore” drugs criminalized again, but he also wants proper treatment facilities for people struggling with addictions and mental health issues.
He mentioned wanting a general reform of the healthcare system as well.
“I want to see the people that work hard contributing to society rewarded, and not money given out undeserved,” Kealy added.
