TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. – Drive BC says Highway 52 East is down to single alternating traffic due to bridge rail damage.
According to Argo Road Maintenance, the rail was damaged by a single-vehicle incident and is almost “completely off the bridge.”
The bridge is currently being assessed, and an estimated time for repairs will be released afterwards. Argo says there were no injuries.

The road closure is between Northland Gas Road and Core Lodge Road, around 31 kilometres east of Tumbler Ridge.
The highway is down to a single lane in this area until further notice.
Drivers going this way are asked to watch for traffic control personnel.
