Tournament MVP was awarded to Toby Coyle, for not only his dedication on the ice, but off the ice as well in helping the tournament run as smoothly as it did.

Despite the less than ideal weather, tournament Organizer Neil Evans spoke about the first ever Crystal Cup, saying “the tournament turned out remarkably well considering Mother Nature threw everything she had at us.”

Evans says for next year’s event, organizers are looking into developing an official executive committee to help plan all the various aspects related to the event. He also said he is looking to expand the tournament to include up to 60 teams.
