Clean-up happening at Taylor Speedway
The clean-up is in anticipation of Taylor Speedway’s 2026 season, which will start on May 22nd with the Babcock Memorial

TAYLOR, B.C. — Taylor Speedway is looking to do a little tidy-up, as any good host would do with impending guests scheduled to arrive.
The speedway took to Facebook to announce its’ Work Bee event – where volunteers come to help get the ⅜-mile track prepared for the season after a long winter.
The clean-up sessions scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th and May 20th have an extensive to-do list, including staining the bleachers, servicing equipment and cleaning the bathrooms.
The speedway also released its 2026 schedule, which begins on May 22nd and 23rd with the Babcock Memorial, as well as season registration, which is available on the website My Season Pass.
Car testing will begin on Monday, May 18th. The season features events in May, June, July and August and will conclude with the Hit-To-Pass races scheduled for Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th.
