Police appeal after ‘youth’ pedestrian hit by vehicle in Tumbler Ridge
Tumbler Ridge RCMP officers are looking for eye witnesses or dash cam footage after a January 30th incident where a boy was hit by a car.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — An appeal has been launched after a boy was hit by a vehicle in Tumbler Ridge.
According to a February 4th press release, police officers responded to a report of a pedestrian-involved collision in Tumbler Ridge at the intersection of Mackenzie Way and Willow Drive at around 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
“The victim, a male youth, was conscious and breathing and receiving medical attention upon police arrival and later taken to hospital for treatment,” Madonna Saunderson, a media relations officer with BC RCMP North District, said.
“The driver remained on scene and was cooperating with the police.”
As part of the investigation, the RCMP are asking anyone with information about the collision or dash cam video to call the Tumbler Ridge detachment at 250-242-5252.
