Youth hangout event coming to Lido Theatre

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A local youth-focused group is hosting a community hangout aimed at providing attendees with a safe space to connect.
The 4You Youth Hangout is set for Saturday, February 7th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lido Theatre. The event is open to all youths aged 12 to 18, free of charge.
According to organizers, the event aims to support young people in the community by offering a “safe place of fun and friendship where youth can feel valued and connected.”

The event will also feature live music, video games and complimentary pizza.
The group says its leaders and volunteers have worked with local youth for many years and are passionate about helping them thrive.
In addition to providing a fun social environment, 4You aims to act as a bridge between youth and community supports, helping connect young people with resources when needed.
The organization says it is proud to partner with the Lido Theatre for the hangout and hopes to host similar events in the future.
