Epscan donates over $3,000 to Carter Kosick Memorial Society
Epscan Industries has donated over $3,000 for the Carter Kosick Memorial Society, which was set up after Carter – a then-18-year-old employee of the company – died last year.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A Fort St. John-based company is helping support the legacy of a young tradesman through a recent donation to the Carter Kosick Memorial Society.
Epscan Industries announced in a Facebook post on January 11th that it raised more than $3,000 for the society, which was set up after one of its employees, Fort St. John’s Carter Kosick, was killed in a traffic accident at the age of 18 in February 2025.
The funds, raised during the company’s annual Christmas party last month, were presented to Carter’s father, Tyler Kosick.

“Carter was one of our brightest up-and-coming apprentices and we are happy to honour his memories and support the development of more great trades teammates through the society,” the post read.
The Carter Kosick Memorial Society also shared its appreciation for the donation, noting Carter had been employed with Epscan Industries since January 2024.
Following Carter’s death, his family established the Carter Kosick Memorial Society in partnership with the Shuswap Community Foundation.
The non-profit provides scholarships for youth pursuing careers in trades, agriculture and the oil and gas and mining industries.
