As we get closer to the end of 2025, there are plenty of returning events to look forward to, especially in November. Here are just a few for you to check out:
Remembrance Day | November 11
Many communities in the Peace region will be hosting Remembrance Day ceremonies, including Fort St John. If you can’t make it in person, we will be livestreaming the parade thanks to ABC Recycling. To watch, you can go to our YouTube channel, follow Moose FM on Facebook, or go to moosefm.ca/live
Light A Moose Radiothon | November 19-21
Latest Stories
The 22nd Annual Light A Moose Radiothon presented by Chances Casino will be taking place from November 19 to 21. As always, we will be raising funds to help out the FSJ Hospital Foundation. This year’s goal is $150,000 for 3 new pieces of technology for the Intensive Care Unit. Make sure to stop by or donate online!
Community Christmas Concert | November 26
Our annual Fort St John Co-op Community Christmas Concert will be happening at the end of the month at The Lido. Enjoy a magical night of music performed by local bands Blackbird and Locust & Honey. Plus, every ticket supports the North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre. Get your tickets while you can!

It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of November 2 to 8, 2025:
- RCMP Identify Remains: found in a burnt car in Dawson Creek. On November 3, 2025, police announced the victim has been identified as Jesse Twain, a 29-year-old resident of Edmonton, Alberta.
- Court Report: for the week of October 27-31, 2025. Included are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek Provincial Courts.
- FSJ Flight Forced to Return: after takeoff due to a pressurization issue. According to Jazz Aviation, AC Flight 8366 departed the airport at around 5:15 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, but turned back as a precaution.
