RCMP identify remains in burnt car as missing man last seen in Fort St. John
The victim has been identified by RCMP officers as Edmonton resident Jesse Twain, who was last seen in Fort St. John on October 10th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The person found dead in a burnt car in Dawson Creek has been identified by the RCMP.
On Thursday, October 16th, officers put out a call for information from residents regarding a 2005 Mazda 6 that had been significantly damaged by fire a few days prior.
Hours later, the city’s RCMP detachment announced that human remains had been discovered inside the vehicle, and an RCMP major crimes unit took over the investigation.

On Monday, November 3rd, police announced the victim has been identified as Jesse Twain, a 29-year-old resident of Edmonton, Alberta.
Twain was reported missing in October. He was last seen in Fort St. John on October 10th. The vehicle containing his body was discovered on the 13th.
Officers are continuing to investigate the situation as a homicide.Â
