43-year-old charged with sexual assault to set trial date in court
Ralph Junior Achla is set to appear before the judicial case manager of the Fort St. John law courts on July 24th on sexual assault charges.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A 43-year-old man charged with sexual assault, among other crimes, is set to appear before the Fort St. John law courts to schedule a trial date.
Ralph Junior Achla was previously wanted by the Fort St. John RCMP and arrested on July 17th.
The 43-year-old has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, uttering threats, obstruction of a peace officer, impaired operation of a conveyance and impaired operation of a conveyance over .08.

According to the Criminal Code of Canada, conveyance is defined as a motor vehicle, a vessel, an aircraft or railway equipment.
Achla appeared in the Fort St. John law courts on July 21st for an arraignment hearing on his sexual assault charges.
He is next set to meet with the judicial case manager on July 24th to schedule a trial date.
The sexual assault is alleged to have taken place in 2017.
