The launch area will be closed off to the public, but the city recommends three different areas for viewing the event.
Attendees can park in the Surerus Park parking lot and enjoy the show from their vehicles, and accessible parking is available at this location.
Limited parking is available at Anne Roberts Young Elementary School — once the lot is full, the city recommends heading over to Surerus Park.
There is also a designated viewing area on 112th Avenue across from the launch area. Those choosing this vantage point are advised to bring a lawn chair or blanket and park at the Surerus parking lot. It’s about a seven-minute walk from the parking lot to the viewing area, accessible via pedestrian crossing lights leading to the walking trail behind the hospital. Please note that vehicles are not permitted in this designated viewing zone.
