Court report: July 20 to July 24

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John provincial court between July 20 and July 24. 

Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing July 20

William Clayton McLennan (born 1989) 

McLennan was found guilty of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession for trafficking on July 15, 2022, and Nov. 21, 2022, in Fort St. John. 

They were handed an 18-month conditional sentence, which is a sentence to be served outside of jail under strict conditions, sometimes called ‘house arrest.’ A secondary DNA order was made and McLennan was ordered to report for sample collection. 

They were also subject to forfeiture, which allows the government to seize property or assets ‘tained’ by crime, handed a 12-month probation order and a firearms prohibition for 10 years.

Tanya Marie Lecuyer (born 1978) 

Lecuyer was found guilty of wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer on April 6, 2026, in Fort St. John. 

They were handed a conditional discharge, which means the record won’t show a conviction if they meet the conditions the judge sets, and a 12-month probation order. 

Mark Marcel Ryan Lizotte (born 1980) 

For an incident in Fort St. John on Nov. 17, 2025, Lizotte was ordered to enter a 12-month, $500 peace bond.   

Christopher Darryl Munch (born 1976) 

Munch was found guilty of being unlawfully in a dwelling house on Dec. 20, 2025, in Fort St. John. 

They were sentenced to jail time served, which means the time Munch served in jail awaiting sentencing was counted towards his sentence. They were handed an 18-month probation order, a 10-year firearms prohibition and were subjected to forfeiture. 

Bradley Norman Supernant (born 1968) 

Supernant was found guilty of wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, breaching an undertaking and theft worth $5,000 or under on April 8, 2026, and June 20, 2026, in Fort St. John. 

Supernant was also found guilty of assault on Feb. 4, 2026, in Fort St. John. 

They were handed a jail time served sentence and an 18-month probation order. 

George Youssef (born 1979) 

For an incident in Fort St. John on May 7, 2026, Youssef was ordered to enter a 12-month, $500 peace bond.
