Northern Health is looking for a Food and Beverage Contractor for the new Dawson Creek and District Hospital.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Northern Health has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Food and Beverage Contractor for the new Dawson Creek and District Hospital. 

According to the health authority’s website, the RFP was issued on July 6, 2026; the question submission deadline is July 22, 2026, and the proposal submission deadline is 2 p.m. on July 31, 2026. 

Northern Health said the contractor will operate the cafe space at the hospital, serving staff, visitors and the public.

A successful contractor will operate a retail food and beverage service from an approximately 75-square-metre cafe space at the hospital’s main entrance. 

The website said the cafe was intended as a high-efficiency, grab-and-go environment designed to serve a high volume of customers during peak periods. 

People interested in applying must submit a completed Proposal Submission Form, provide proof of a FoodSafe Level 1 certification and any supporting documentation required under the RFP.

Proposals must be submitted in PDF format to Chelsey.Yaremichuk@northernhealth.ca and be clearly marked as “DCDH Retail Food and Beverage Services – RFP.” 

Northern Health is welcoming proposals from qualified businesses interested in becoming part of the new Dawson Creek and District Hospital and serving the community.
