Man sentenced to nearly four years jail time for Dawson Creek home invasion

Adam Dahr was sentenced on March 10th, 2026, to jail for nearly four years for a home invasion in Dawson Creek in 2024.

DAWSON CREEK. B.C. — One person has been sentenced to jail for a Dawson Creek home invasion. 

According to Court Services Online, Adam Dahr, born 1995, was sentenced on March 10th, 2026 for an incident that happened in 2024. 

It happened on February 1st in the area of 15th Street and 107th Avenue in Dawson Creek just before 7 p.m., with three suspects said to have entered the residence armed and looking for valuables.

One person was assaulted with a weapon that caused facial laceration that required stitches.

Dahr was arrested in Alberta alongside Emily Ogden and a third suspect related to the home invasion in the early hours of February 2nd.

On March 10th this year, Dahr was found guilty of robbery and was given 1,394 days in jail and a lifetime firearms prohibition.

He was subjected to forfeiture, which allows the government to seize property and assets ‘tainted’ by crime, and a primary DNA order was made. 

Ogden was found dead on April 14th, 2025 after she was reported missing out of Fort St. John on March 29th, 2025. 

At that time, the Dawson Creek RCMP confirmed her death and a “suspicious death” investigation was launched by E Division Major Crime Section. 

The name of the third person who was arrested was not released at the time as they were a minor.
