(UPDATE) Hudson’s Hope Health Centre reopens after closure due to ‘staffing challenges’

The Hudson’s Hope Health Centre has reopened after “staffing challenges” closed the facility from February 24th.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. —  The Hudson’s Hope Health Centre has reopened following a week-long closure. 

According to a statement to Energeticcity.ca from Northern Health, the centre closed from February 24th to March 3rd due to “staffing challenges.”

The health authority stated it was expected to resume on March 2nd.

“The hours for the Hudson’s Hope Health Centre are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it does not have a 24/7 emergency department,” Northern Health said. 

Outside of opening hours, residents are encouraged to call 911 to connect with BC Emergency Health Services for transportation to the nearest available hospital.
