FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial courts between January 12th and 16th.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, January 12th
Brandon Jordon Allemeersch (born 1993)
Reasonable grounds were satisfied for Allemeersch for an incident on July 9th, 2025 in Fort St. John.
They were issued a zero-dollar recognizance after the allegation, where Allemeersch was given conditions to follow, after an incident in Fort St. John on July 9th, 2025, for a period of 18 months.
Tracy Dawn Snowden (born 1977)
Snowden was found guilty of possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking a controlled substance in Fort St. John.

They were handed a conditional sentence – which is to be served outside of jail under strict conditions, sometimes called ‘house arrest – for 729 days, a DNA order and subject to forfeiture, which allows the government to seize property and assets ‘tainted’ by crime.
They were also ordered to report for sample collection and were handed a probation order for 12 months and 12-year firearm prohibition.
They were told to pay a $200 victim surcharge, which goes towards helping the victims of a crime.
Jay William Watier (born 1977)
Watier was found guilty of careless use or storage of a firearm on July 2nd, 2025 in Fort St. John.
They were sentenced to forfeiture.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, January 12th
Jessie William Freeman (born 1992)
Freeman was found guilty of breaching a release order on November 18th, December 2nd and December 9th, 2024 and January 3rd, 2025 in Dawson Creek.
They were issued a jail time served sentence.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, January 14th
Claudia Neal (born 1966)
Neal was found guilty of operating a vehicle while over 80mg of alcohol in the blood on January 19th, 2025 in Tumbler Ridge.
Neal was given a driving prohibition for one year, a fine of $2,000 and $600 victim surcharge.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, January 16th
Elaine Rose Cardinal (born 2001)
Reasonable grounds were satisfied for Cardinal for an incident on September 27th in Doig.
Cardinal was issued a $500 recognizance after the allegation. If Cardinal fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $500.
