School Districts 60, 81 cancel all buses as temperatures plunge
All buses in School Districts 60 and 81 will be cancelled on Friday, December 12th due to bad weather and road conditions.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — School District 60 and 81 have both cancelled buses on Friday due to cold weather and challenging road conditions.
In a Facebook posts on School District 60 and School District 81‘s pages, they said buses will be cancelled all day on Friday, December 12th.
School District 60 serves Fort St. John and 81 serves Fort Nelson.

This comes as Environment Canada forecasts predict – 28 C will be the highest temperature in Fort St. John on Friday, and it could feel like -39 C when accounting for wind chill.
It warned there is a risk of frostbite and has issued an extreme cold warning.
