It was another busy couple of months across the Peace region. As members of the community, our reporters were able to attend a variety of events such as the Gathering of Nations held in Dawson Creek, Peace Country Harvest put on by Stage North, the Spark Women’s Leadership Conference, and more. Latest Stories
- Nearly 200 Drivers Slapped with Speeding Tickets: in Fort St John and Dawson Creek during October’s 2025 Drive Relative to Conditions campaign. 24 vehicles were impounded for “excessive speed.”
- Court Report: for the week of November 17 to 21, 2025. Included are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial courts.
- Dawson Creek Loses Orthopedic Surgeon: and hiring efforts hit a stumbling block. A surgeon was selected by Northern Health to fill the position, however they were allegedly denied approval by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
