RCMP hunt for man wanted on multiple warrants

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP detachment is on the look out for a wanted man.

Nicholas Stafford, 34, is wanted for alleged multiple vehicular infractions and robbery charges. 

They include unendorsed warrants for failure to stop after an accident, driving while prohibited, failure to yield right of way, theft under $5,000, robbery and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, according to a press release.

Stafford is six feet two inches tall and 253 pounds. He has brown/red hair and brown eyes.

While police continue to investigate, they encourage anyone with information on Stafford’s whereabouts to come forward by calling the Fort St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8100 or Northern BC Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477 (TIPS) for those who wish to remain anonymous.

A guy who found his calling later in life, Edward Hitchins is a professional storyteller with a colourful and extensive history.

Beginning his journey into journalism in 2012 at Seneca College, Edward also graduated from Humber College with an Advanced Diploma in Print and Broadcast Journalism in 2018.  After time off from his career and venturing into other vocations, he started his career proper in 2022 in Campbell River, B.C.

In a way, he hopes this position will allow both himself and Energeticcity to grow as a collective unit as his career moves forward and evolves into the next step.

He looks forward to growing both as a reporter and as a human being while being posted in Fort St. John.
