Eight arrests made after police search residence and recover ‘stolen tools’
The search warrant executed by Fort St. John RCMP officers on November 21st was related to a drug trafficking investigation.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP detachment made eight arrests following the execution of a search warrant late last week.
Police said in a press release they executed a search of a residence at the Peace Country Mobile Home Park at 8420 Alaska Road North in Fort St. John on November 21st.
Members of the detachment’s street enforcement team, alongside the serious crime unit and frontline officers, conducted enforcement on the residence as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Police say they seized a loaded pistol, drugs, currency and thousands of dollars worth of stolen tools.
The tools are said to have been stolen from around the local area and officers are attempting to identify the owners.
A woman was arrested and held in custody due to breaching court conditions from a prior case, while the other individuals who were detained were released from custody pending the conclusion of the investigation and the determination of charges.
Plain clothes unit Commander Sergeant Ian Rissanen of the Fort St. John RCMP detachment said the street enforcement team “remains committed to addressing nuisance properties linked to illegal activity” within the city.
