Person injured in third Fort St. John shooting in a week
Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a shooting in the 9500 block of 96th Avenue, the third gun incident in a week.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A person has been injured following an early morning shooting in Fort St. John today, the third in less than seven days.
Fort St. John RCMP responded to an area of 96th Street and 96th Avenue on Wednesday, October 29th at 3:46 a.m.
Police say one person had been shot, while another in the area was unharmed.

Witnesses reported “numerous gunshots” in the area, prompting a closure of the road while officers conducted forensic tests.
The incident is the second involving gunfire in 24 hours, following an incident of gunfire at the Peace Country Mobile Home Park on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 28th.
It is also the third gun-related incident in a week, after shots were fired on Friday, October 24th in the 9600 block of 96th Avenue.
RCMP officers continue to investigate and are asking anyone with dashcam or doorbell camera footage to come forward.
