One of The Mulvahill’s primary motives to put together North Bound Bulls was to “keep busy.”
“There are not a lot of indoor rodeos,” said Mulvahill. “Our season is late spring, throughout the summer and then usually we get cut off right about September.”
“We decided we wanted to continue to have events throughout the fall and winter to keep us busy, keep the riders busy and bring more entertainment for spectators.”

The rodeo will feature classic events, including bull riding, steer riding, wild horse and wild pony racing and more.
For the first time this year the rodeo will feature mini bareback riding and more kid’s relay races to encourage spectator participation. Also new will be a 50/50 raffle, a loonie raffle and more variety of food trucks.
“Last year we just had stick horse racing for the kids,” said Mulvahill. “We have got full relays for kids to be able to join in. Not everybody wants to get involved in the steer riding or rough stock events.”
To top the event off, a dance for ages 19 and older will be held on Saturday evening, featuring the music of Tequila Cowboy.
“We are fairly well adapted when it comes to events,” said Mulvahill. “We know what to do. We know how to have an amazing event.”
Tickets are available either by cash at the gate or at Buckin Around BC’s website. Tickets cost $20 for adults (14 and up), Seniors (65+) and Youth (6-13 years of age) are $15. Children five and under are free.
