PRRD launches redesigned website, showcases local photography

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has unveiled a redesigned website aimed at making it easier for residents to find information and services online.

According to the PRRD, the updated site, still located at prrd.bc.ca, features enhanced mobile compatibility, a stronger search function and a cleaner layout that makes navigation easier across devices. 

The redesign also showcases local photography, highlighting the region’s landscapes.

“We redesigned this website with our residents in mind,” said PRRD board chair Leonard Hiebert. 

“It is easier and faster now for people to find the services and information they need. We also incorporated input from staff, gaining valuable information about commonly asked questions from residents and partners.”

Hiebert also said the new site goes beyond legislated accessibility requirements and uses plain language to improve clarity.

Residents are encouraged to explore the new site and share their thoughts through the PRRD’s online feedback form.
