FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre has received a $10,000 donation from Beem Credit Union.
The funding will go toward upgrading the centre’s storefront, with the goal of building a peaceful space where families feel at home, the centre said.
“Your support is building more than a space, it’s building hope,” the centre said in a statement to Beem on August 12th. “Thank you for making a real difference.”
Beem Credit Union, one of B.C.’s largest provincially-regulated credit unions, serves more than 193,000 members across 66 branches and manages $17 billion in assets.
The North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre said residents can expect to see its updated storefront soon.
Energeticcity.ca contacted Beem for more information but did not hear back in time for publication.
