LNG Canada is anticipated to export 14 million tonnes a year, and is a joint venture between four Asian partners and Shell

According to Shell president Cederic Cremers, the facility would mostly be producing for markets in Asia.

“We expect that supplying LNG will be the biggest contribution Shell will make to the energy transition over the next decade, and projects like LNG Canada position our portfolio to achieve this,” Cremers said.
