“I fell in love with the goal at Edge Cheer. We are there to build each other up, to be positive towards each other on and off the mat,” Wheatley said.
Today, Wheatley is the head coach and the president of the board, working with members to support the non-profit organization.
“It feels amazing to be [Bold Woman of the Month], someone sees what it is to run a non-profit program we believe in, to be the Head Coach teaching all our athletes on all our teams from our Tiny’s (preschool/kindergarten ages) to our teenagers.”
Wheatley dedicates much of her free time every day to supporting the association, and considers her coaching successes her proudest personal accomplishments in recent years.
