Peace Gallery North preparing for Winter Festival Maker’s Market, 2025 Art Auction

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Peace Gallery North is recruiting local artists, vendors, and artisans to participate in its annual event for the High on Ice Winter Festival.

According to its latest newsletter, the gallery is preparing to host a Maker’s Market as part of the festival, on Saturday, February 15th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the North Peace Cultural Centre.

There are no table or commission fees required to become a vendor for the event, but vendors will be expected to run their own tables.

Preparations are also underway for the gallery’s annual Art Auction at the Ramada by Wyndham Northern Grand Hotel and Conference Centre.

Artists interested in donating their work to the auction are encouraged to contact the gallery and fill out registration paperwork by February 22nd.

The auction, which is sponsored by the FSJ Community Arts Council, is being held on March 8th.

Residents interested in taking part in the Maker’s Market can reach out to the gallery via email or by calling 250-785-1992.

Meanwhile, artists who wish to donate to the Art Auction can call 250-787-0993, email the gallery, or visit in person to pick up registration forms.
