NRRM reports two new suspicious fires in Fort Nelson

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) reported on Wednesday that two new suspicious fires have occurred in the Fort Nelson area.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) reported on Wednesday that two new suspicious fires have occurred in the Fort Nelson area. 

Fire Chief James Childs says the department was notified about the first fire at 4:27 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25th, on Willow Road.

The other fire was reported at Villers Trailer Park the same day at 10:30 p.m.

No injuries are being reported, as no one was home during the fires.

Childs says both fires are suspicious and under investigation at this time. 

The NRRM says it will keep the public updated on new information.
