Dawson Creek business offers support to family following house fire
After losing everything he owns in a house fire in Pouce Coupe, a single father is receiving help from a long-time friend and business owner.

POUCE COUPE, B.C. — After losing everything he owns in a house fire in Pouce Coupe, a single father is receiving help from a long-time friend and business owner.
James, a single father of five boys, lost his home and everything he owns in a fire on Monday morning. The cause of the house fire is still undetermined.
James has requested his last name be kept anonymous for the time being.
Ty Ollenberger owns Rebel Fit Nutrition, a supplement store with locations in Dawson Creek, Williams Lake and Grande Prairie and has known James for 20 years, he says.
Ollenberger offered to help out the family, and on Friday, March 8th, proceeds from sales at his Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie locations will be donated to James and his kids.
The locations are also accepting clothing donations for the family.
