Volunteer Rosalie Brandle says the hospital auxiliary’s funding comes from donations, the six vending machines they own, and the hospital gift store.

Brandle notes that anyone looking to donate to the organization can do so at the hospital gift store.

Since February 1932, the auxiliary’s goal has been to purchase necessary equipment for the hospital’s patients, and now Peace Villa’s residents, for their comfort and care.

The hospital auxiliary is having an appreciation day on December 8th for its volunteers and everyone involved with the non-profit.

The event will be at the hospital’s gift store from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., where volunteers will serve cookies and hot apple cider.
