FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Peace Gallery North has a variety of events and activities scheduled throughout the month of April.

Alison Newth will feature her first solo exhibition, Landscapes of the North,  starting with an opening reception on April 7th.

Paint Night

Local artist Diana Hofmann will host a paint night on Saturday, April 29th starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $45, which includes taxes, all art supplies, and a drink. The event is for ages 19 and older.

Pride Art Week Call for Artists

As part of Pride 2023, the North Peace Pride Society is hosting their Pride! In the community Art Show in June. The exhibition is open to artists of all ages and abilities, with no limits on the medium.

The society also asks that a handwritten note describing the artists’ interpretation of the theme should be included.

The deadline to submit is April 30th.

Open Studio

Located in the North Peace Cultural Centre loft, there will also be open studio hours each Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to work on current projects and meet other local artists.

Everyone is welcome, and it is free to drop in.
