FORT ST. JOHN B.C. – The Fort St. John Inconnu Swim Club brought home several medals from last weekend’s meet.

The club won over 30 medals over the two-day meet.

On Saturday, the team won three gold, three silver, two bronze. The group then added another eight gold, three silver, and three bronze medals later in the day.

On Sunday, the team finished with six medals, two of each colour: gold, silver, and bronze.

Four men are heading into the finals next week, and four women who participated didn’t advance due to the heavy competition.

“We got four of the men going to Victoria next week, and it looks like we’ll have a couple of swimmers fighting for some vital spots in our top 10,” said the club’s head coach, Josh Sorensen.

The next home meet for the swim club will be held in May.
