FORT ST JOHN, B.C. – The Feye Spring Water Transfer Station will be closed for routine power outages on July 5th and 6th.
The Peace River Regional District sent a public alert on Tuesday morning to announce the planned outage at 1836 Imperial Avenue in Clayhurst.
The nearest station is ten minutes north at 1108 Cecil Lake Road. The Boundary Lake Water Station will be closed from July 6th to 9th.
The other two operational water fill stations are in Buick and Prespatou.
The Rose Prairie Tankloader, which was scheduled to open on February 22nd, has been closed due to explosive gases being detected in the well.
The Peace River Regional District is doing a feasibility study to determine whether to move the water station or fix the current issue.
