Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library in search of fundraising volunteers

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library is looking for volunteers to help with raising funds and awareness for the library.

The call for volunteers came in a Facebook post on the Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library page on Friday afternoon, with the group urging people to apply through its website link. It claims successful candidates will be contacted through email about future volunteer opportunities.

According to the website, volunteers will “communicate and promote the Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library’s mission and impact to the public at local events.” Volunteers are expected to work anywhere from one to 40 hours a month.
